"Reflections of Pride" is on Saturday, September 20 in Pasadena's Memorial Park from 11:00am to 6:00pm and is FREE to the public. This Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Festival is unlike the large urban GLBT Pride Festivals. By any measure, it is smaller and quieter and that makes for more FUN and connecting with your community.
This year, we are adding entertainment in the Levitt Pavilion! As this is the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the music will focus on music by GLBT composers from Aaron Copland to KD Lang. Talk about diversity!
Also returning are the Classic Car Show, the Big Draw LA community-draw exprience, a Family area, the Authors' Forum with readings/signings and a local animal shelter with pets seeking some serious loving in a forever home. The usual array of community service groups from PFLAG to LAPD Recruitment will also be there so you can learn more about yourself and your communty.
Returning by popular request is our Adults Only area with FREE Bingo presented by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an Erotic Art Show and a wine tasting fundraiser sponsored by Barefoot Wines!
