The Los Angeles Plein Air Festival begins on Wednesday, October 7th, and this is the first of three opportunities for urban sketchers and plein air painters to spend a few hours with Faber-Castell artist Don Colley and his traveling studio as explores and sketches throughout Downtown Los Angeles.
10am Saturday October 10: After a short lecture/demo at Raw Materials Art Supplies, Don leads the group to sketch/paint historic Grand Central Market, the city's oldest and largest public market, and Angel's Flight Railway, the landmark funicular railway to Bunker HIll.
